It still takes her a bit to get to it, but in the end, she DOES, of course, love him. They’re pretty tied for who fell harder, but I think Eya slightly edges out Gale since he IS her first love, and that comes with a rush of passion and intensity that’s hard to ever match.

It’s why he comes close to using the orb in Act 2: Eya hasn’t been giving him the verbal reassurance of her feelings or said she loves him back. She doesn’t understand love or relationships, and she has high emotional walls. It’s a huge wake-up call to her & makes her become a better partner to him.

It was a BIG issue both pre-relationship & in early days. Gale thought Eya was just interested in sex, so between that & volatility of the orb, he was VERY slow to act. But her reaction to Mystra’s missive + distracting Z’rell with her attraction to him made him realise it wasn’t just physical/FWB..

2. She knows that it’s been a while since Gale has had physical, mortal sex, so he’s going to be a bit rusty, he’s not going to last long… Neither of these are problems, but with him being so sure this is his last night, she wants him to feel safe and comfortable. And, well, she wants good sex, too.

1. Eya has never really been treated as if she were special, and Gale is obviously big on BIG romantic gestures. He’s consistently told her she deserves to be treated well, and she deserves to be impressed and pursued. So the “I could do more than woo you, I could wow you” line hits hard.

Congrats! Your posing is always so beautiful - I’m doing a redo of my fave Tav Eya’s run and trying to power through photo mode on console, and your shots are definitely an inspiration! If I win, I’d love to get some shots of her and Gale.

Her POV on their journey also never really wavers. Perhaps because she never fully comprehended the scale of what they were facing, but she always believed they’d succeed as a group. She was never really worried about their odds of surviving.
