Yep. We’re at an appt at the IWK and crossing University and Robie was something… cars backed up blocking the crosswalks.

When it is nice and light, I try to get mine fully cleared before my neighbour with the 4 wheeler gets out, so he doesn’t think I’m waiting for him to do it. Today I’m hoping he does ours after the plow comes by as that is going to be a beast.

I don’t often hope for a snow day, but I could really use one tomorrow!

Yes! I loved seeing it briefly today.

I drove through a white out snow squall on the 103 about an hour ago. The winds were intense. Then came out the other side into sun in Tantallon.

Yes, I tend to think that of her, too. I don’t know what she’s going through, but today I don’t care.

As I walk away, I hear ‘I’m so sorry.’ And again ‘I’m so sorry.’ I just keep walking. And that, my friends, is what almost broke me today. Not all the drama over mom’s stuff and the fact that I’m doing all the apartment cleaning alone, but some entitled stranger.

No, it’s street parking which is not assigned. ‘Well I usually park there.’ I shrug and point and say that’s my mom’s apartment. ‘I always park there.’ So I look at her and say ‘That’s my mom’s place and she just died and I am cleaning out her apartment. I will be gone by the end of the month.’

Oh there is. I was going to pay from the estate account. Luckily there isn’t a lot of debt. I just haven’t done it yet as it’s not the most pressing thing on my to-do list.
