I had previously visited Mount Jiangziliao on one leg of my Taipei Skyline Trail adventures. On that visit, I hiked up from Xiping Road, battling through grasses so tall that they towered above me and being screeched at by perturbed muntjacs.

Does this type of coffee shop have a name? There are plenty of them scattered around and they share a definite aesthetic. Woodsy, secluded, warm lights and simple furnishings (my coffee table was literally the chopping block for their firewood). I feel they deserve a name. #TaiwanCoffeeCulture
