You can also use charge combos your Beams can't be stacked so select the beam you want and char charge beam then select your power bombs then charge the beam, the combo will activate automatically and there are unique combos to each beam

There is a secret in Super Metroid I found out about and it made me today year old.

Crystal Flash: select power bomb, morph ball, hold L, R, down, and X and you will heal yourself with your ammunition but it can only be done if you have no reserve tanks and energy tanks and are below 50 health
