i just turned off the lights to go to bed in the new place and almost burst into tears because what i thought earlier was a leftover command strip on the far wall was actually one of approximately 200 glow in the dark stickers in the shapes of constellations across the walls and ceiling

all of the sorority girls who travel in packs of 4-8 and never ever tip have returned to campus in the span of two days. and my Coworker Takes coworker has not stopped talking since we opened. and i will be moving apartments and ttrpg-ing until 11 pm after this.

cleaning out an apartment with no ac in 93° weather is one of the most miserable experiences imaginable. i still have one more room to clean but if i have to exist with this layer of sweat and grime on me much longer i am going to just start crying

guy walks in just now and orders a sandwich we do not have. i do my best to modify an existing sandwich to for him and ring him up. he does not tip. he proceeds to walk to the counter where we keep milk for coffee, pour the entirety of the whole milk carafe into a cup, and then sit down.

earlier editions of the eye of the world have a big illustration on the inside cover instead of a color map; my dad’s copy had it and i had my fingers crossed that the one i bought would as well, and it looks like i was in luck :)
