MAGA resisting, American. Retired Teacher and former Union President, 🌎 traveler, lover of literature and philosophy, political junkie. Opinions are mine but most likely correct.
But religious people vote. There is an interview with Heather Cox Richardson and Kate Barr (a Republican candidate in NC) which gives an interesting perspective on this worthy of consideration.

Guess that backfired

I noticed that too.

If she were smart she would have handed him a replica.

What is left to unify at this point? I have removed MAGA I know from my life. As a retired teacher I dedicated my life to making positive differences in children’s lives. There is NOTHING more detestable to me than those who hurt children except those who defend people who have hurt children.

And people who say they are progressive and so refused to vote for Kamala Harris are partly to blame for that.

I am not sure she did

The moving tongue!

I got a thesaurus.

AI or just using Google? I often told kids to google spelling but would never consider telling a student to use AI for anything. I would also NEVER stop a kid from using a dictionary but dictionaries aren’t even in classrooms anymore.

Absolutely! It makes up citations from research that does not exist and quotes things never said. It’s awful!

It sucks for research. It makes up citations from research that does not exist

ABSOLUTELY

I’ve had mine since I was 5. I grew up overseas, but millions of US citizens don’t. I can remember serious delays during Trump’s first term. My fear is that they will just cut the funding and shut down the passport office.

But he is scared of a vaccine
February 14, 2026 at 5:41 PM
Yup! It’s in our Constitution
February 14, 2026 at 1:20 AM
No there won’t

The pilot should have been like sorry I can’t fly right now, I am busy at home.
February 13, 2026 at 9:57 PM
I think if it were to start it would have to be state charges. People could always be arrested in Arizona, Florida, NY etc for crimes they committed there, couldn’t they?
February 13, 2026 at 9:47 PM
I literally look at the DHS statements to figure out what definitely did not happen
February 13, 2026 at 9:16 PM
Seriously, we can’t even get people who can legitimately vote to get their asses off the couch. People who can’t are going to do it illegally?

AIPAC ran a smear campaign in NJ against a congressional primary candidate and while I am not disappointed by who won, I do believe the campaign was successful. I received mailers that claimed he supported Trump and ICE.

From what I have seen it says nothing about a birth certificate and a marriage certificate. It said birth certificate matching current name. Most married women who changed their names won’t qualify unless they have a passport. Even if you can afford a passport they can slow down or restrict issuing.
February 13, 2026 at 6:55 AM
Maybe it’s easier just to change our names back to our maiden name.
February 13, 2026 at 6:50 AM
I noticed that. It’s almost seems to restrict you to a passport which they can restrict you from getting.
