TitleKnown: 1/13/2023 Tho, also a depressing thought: A lot of our optimism on AI art finding a balance with traditional art reminds me of the optimism some practical effects people had wrt CGI finding a balance with practical effects, and how while some of that came to pass, mostly practical effects got utterly crushed under capitalism while the users of CGI also became a turbo-screwed creative underclass. And I'm terrified our optimism might go the same way too.
