Peace-oriented dragon.
Oft, the simple joys are sweetest, and always when shared does the savor last.

Age verification?

Nobody knows how to guess a dragon’s age, unless we are still in the shell. My sort are all ribbony from youth to old age.

(Good thing, too, or I wouldn’t get through the stacks!)

Peruses the list, considering which ones to add to the book hoard.

I am sorry that your furry family member is ill. I hope that you can cherish her wonderfully.

Thank you for the laugh! ❤️

This is a deeply beautiful image. Thank you for sharing it.

Surprisingly timely.

Not that being a book-dragon doesn’t have its perks. It’s just that stable income doesn’t come from my hoard.

Considering a change.

It is important to pause for a —wait, was that an old “jingle?”

Rushes off to dig up commercials, returning with a vhs tape, sliding it into a slot, and a screen nearly obscured by book stacks lights. Fast forward, and then you hear, “Coke: the pause that refreshes.”

-Contented smile-
Yes it was!

That sounds lovely. Hmm.
I doubt I could raise the finds in two years. Maybe three. I have a mind to visit plaves, and that takes money.
In know, I know. “Cash in some of the hoard.”

But I’m a book dragon!

(And yes, I refer to this fellow being ‘first’ in the tremendous effect of this type of view, rather than the first to think of it.)

-Slides glasses down nose and blinks thoughtfully-

But was he essentially the first human to do this? Or did he gather his ideas and just hit upon spectacularly good timing for the traditional retell-and-embellish maneuver?

The practice seems awfully pervasive. Did it start there?

I’m more of a cave lizard, but for the wings. I do like caves, though mine has far too many hobby niches and I need to get that in claw or be overwhelmed.

Silver lining: it all looks pretty humdrum, so treasure hunters don’t do well here. ;)

Audacious! Lofty! Definitely worthwhile!

I too will adopt this ‘resolution’ plan—though it is not a traditional part of Draconic culture—and perhaps I can start with the wings. My flight is somewhat weak, and I have a slight sprain on one of my landing claws… but this shall pass.

Perhaps a story.

Sending goodness to you and spouse. Non-malignant is good, may it remain so, and resolve.

Gorgeous! I’d like to print and frame this one. ❤️

Hmm. I have noticed that, generally, if not planned in advance, these vacation things don’t happen. There are always extra things that fill the time.
I think our brood needs to start earlier! Thank you for the reminder.

Where I currently curl up is very snowy and quite cold. Windy days can be disproportionately cold. I see from mapping that the location is in a spot that would get a lot of wet and windy weather. Stay as warm as you can! :)

Does Jersey not get snow?
