Because 4-D space-time isn't expanding into an existing "space" but literally into nothingness. And when they say the universe is nearly flat, it's like an inflated balloon that's so big you can barely see the curve at all. But the space within the balloon is 3-dimensional.

In a universe where matter and energy are both conserved, by some unexplained magic, every time a choice is made, the entire universe is copied ... and located where? Penrose, Smolin and others have argued persuasively that this is non sequitur, an utter failure to explain anything

It's painfully evident that many people do NOT want these ten things, especially "universalism" and "benevolence" ... there's a widely held selfish and self-righteous (religious dogma) streak several miles wide that drags down everybody within range

Agreed ... I no longer even look at such animal videos, because the rational assumption is that it's simply an AI fantasy fishing for clicks. Unfortunate.
