getting your shit together sucks actually. nobody tells you that you then need to work pretty hard to keep your shit together after getting it there. so unfair.
the plumbers who said they weren’t coming back til next week showed back up today… they found the major leak source in one of the building’s water mains (so a common utility, not residents’ responsibility) after cutting into our neighbor’s bathroom wall!!! slight silver lining that it wasn’t ours 😮💨
unfortunately it was not a quick fix and now we need our whole shower redone. about to enter a major home improvement phase of my life i guess 🥲🙃😅
thankfully, THANKFULLY:
1. the plumbing work is a quick fix for issues i’ve ignored for a while;
2. we’re NOT the source of a larger ongoing leak in our building, confirmed by the plumber;
and 3. this fix gives us time to actually plan/budget a bathroom renovation i’ve lowkey wanted for a while now.

my display of typical gamer tendencies: got a tad upset at bg3 for forcing a long rest between acts 1 and 2 bc i just rested, before realizing it doesn’t even utilize any of your long rest resources.
i also very nearly have enough resources for 40 more long rests, just from looting during act 1 😅😇

- bad bc it’s right outside boss’s office
