Bret gives the defintion of genocide as “intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such.", and yet somehow fails to see that it exactly describes what is happening right now.

I read this op-ed and it seems like Bret's logic is that if you slowly work to exterminate a people, it's not genocide. The tobacco companies should use that same logic to confidently proclaim that smoking doesn't cause lung cancer.

I doubt that animal abuse is the "most majestic" thing I will see on BlueSky today. AF, maybe you've never owned a cat, but please educate yourself and then realize how messed up this whole scenario is. There are plenty of funny cat videos without posting exploitative videos like this.

Animal Flix, if you like animals, please don't post videos of them doing unnatural things. This is an ignorant human putting a cat in a position it doesn't want to be in. Your post only encourages more of this behavior. Please stick to videos that don't encourage stupid humans.

This is a wild animal that doesn't belong in a cage. Maybe it was rescued and captivity was the only option. In that case, don't post videos of it, because it just encourages the trafficking of "cute" wild animals, even a bigger problem in our "influencer" era.
