I’d always meant to read this book…and as I write on/about/through my mother’s hoarding disorder, it feels like this book has come to me at the right time. My plan is to buy a book from the sale every week and work with it somehow, by reading or maybe even using it for collage/palimpsest purposes.

Second is Melanie Dennis Unrau’s second collection of poetry, Goose (w/Assembly Press). I have the honour of hosting Melanie’s launch October 11 and I’m greatly looking forward to getting goosey. This book is part of Melanie’s petropoetics project, subverting a text by the “father of the oil sands.”
