Following the press on this today, I feel fairly assured they will go with making this an example on how they are tough and inhumane. I expect nothing less.

We’re finally starting to see the results of prioritising water in our budget. Work crews have fixed over 4,000 leaks in the last year. The city also reduced its water consumption by a massive 20 mil litres per day. This is huge news for the Wellington region.

I don’t necessarily disagree however on a recent build of a three bedroom three storey dwelling in a typical hilly welly site we didn’t have enough roof and sun access to make it useful. Couldn’t be bettered by design and so wasn’t implemented. If it was mandatory it would be have been wasteful.
