Buddhism is a religion that makes ultimate freedom an explicit goal.
I thought he'd already been inducted!

Right?

This guy thinks brain size correlates with intelligence. He even thinks the rest of us think the same. Is it related to the weird eugenicist cult he's in?

Do I even want to know about "subtard"?

"Nucular" is intuitive by analogy to familiar words like "spectacular", "particular", etc. Normally I'll accept this as language doing its thing, but in this case I want to preserve the link to the root word "nucleus".
"Fission power" or "fission missile" would be more accurate anyway.

But the real story, of course, is appointments exchanged for favors, and it's a really long one. DT isn't running the US as a businessman per se - more like a MOGUL specifically.

Disappointing that the critique here is of her being a horny woman and not of her complete lack of diplomatic experience. Not a fan of the implication that she's always "slept her way to the top" - partly because it takes the focus off her actual sexual misconduct.

It's not stupidity, it's dishonesty. They're going to hand out graft and then dismantle what they can't plunder. I think they want to sabotage everything they can, in order to convince the public to distrust government.

Sorry - I mean when they fail to privilege them.

And if we're opposing political malpractice, structural violence, and the culture of hate and fear, let's not preemptively cede ground in any form. Opponents won't, and they'll cry "censorship" when their behavior makes it necessary to remove them or when the "community standards" privilege them.

I think there are major benefits to maintaining a presence on those tilted platforms. Millions of users there need to hear from a variety of well-informed source.

The people who actually run his companies do everything they can to insulate their projects from him and his half-baked ideas. At the top level, the job consists mainly of managing Musk.

I'm well over hearing about his IQ, too. IQ is a questionable measure of intellect (Actually, it's questionable even to define intellect quantitatively.) and it's not generally relevant to how someone handles or fumbles real-world problems and opportunities.

He's usually good for a reductive and puerile analysis of society at large.
December 4, 2024 at 5:48 PM
He's in that eugenicist cult, though. He thinks he should make all those kids because he's convinced that he has a top-shelf genome.

Over half of all they in the USA is wage theft. We need accountability for "white collar crime". I never support the death penalty, but the point is that we need much stronger enforcement and sentencing that's proportioned to the criminal's own means.

I liked "Twitler".

Trump is one of the few billionaires of who we can say that his death could stop the worst of the damage. Their wealth and their enterprise are a machine that keeps going without them. Trump, though, has such liabilities that the organization could collapse.

But, would it help tank EM's platform if we could siphon off ad revenue?
Ah, who am I kidding? EM could keep the whole thing afloat just on his own dividends. Bigger than too big to fail, he's too big even to test.
