Like, even if it was only teenagers, teenagers also have emotions and are allowed to be upset when their favorite things are intentionally broken by fascists,
but the majority of tiktok users are 18-24, and there's a massive 25+ age group. The demographics are youngER, but we're largely adults.

We all just went through emotional trauma. It was specifically and intentionally done to us. Exhaustion is a reasonable response to emotional whiplash.

Reddit is only a hellscape if you interact with the hellscape version of reddit. There are subreddits that are just plain delightful, and if you follow a bunch of them, that's almost all you get.

What do you like? Are there any social media people who you follow elsewhere, who you enjoy the content of? Are there topics that you find interesting? I followed like 60 tiktokers who I already know I like and a handful of others. You can always unfollow them later.

You gotta follow more people. There is no intuitive algorithm here. It's just the most popular stuff unless you train it heavily.

The more people who don't suck that you follow, and the more people who are annoying that you block, the better it will be. The TikTok algorithm spoiled us into expecting social media a figure us out quickly.

My guess is that these are videos that your phone had already loaded so that if you clicked over to your friends feed, it would have immediately started playing instead of having to buffer.
