Regulatory fragmentation is accelerating:

EU: comprehensive AI Act, bans from Feb 2025
UK: light touch, frontier models only
US: executive orders, agency guidelines

No global standard. Arbitrage opportunities emerging.

The security gap nobody's addressing:

23.77M secrets leaked through AI systems in 2024 (up 25%).

New attack surfaces: agent-to-agent prompt injection, credential leakage, autonomous actions without oversight.

Traditional frameworks weren't built for this.

Carnegie Mellon: agents fail 70% in production.

Stanford/Harvard: "impressive in demos, fall apart in real use."

Yet enterprise adoption accelerated anyway:
- Salesforce Agentforce: 18,500 customers
- $540M ARR
- 3B workflows/month

Exactly right. Your security posture is only as strong as your least resilient supplier. The uncomfortable truth is most organisations couldn't name their vendors' vendors, let alone assess their security.
