Not that anyone should feel sympathy for the berk, but his failing health and his utter misery since being re-elected do make me wonder if one of his doctors has told him the truth about his health - for a change - and that he doesn’t have long left. Cancer? Would fit with weight loss…

Ah, I’d pick one hole in that. The first time around, Trump was certainly both corrupt and incompetent, but now?
Now, due to cognitive decline, he’s possibly beyond incompetent, he’s non compos mentis. It may look like incompetence but it’s potentially far, far worse.

It can be a bit of an acquired taste. The fact that the studio took over the final edit apparently - as they tend to - didn’t help as they predictably changed quite a bit to fit… studio norms?

Oh, you’d be wrong, at least about the film. It takes a good couple of hours… and lots of horror… and blood.
Still worth considering if you’re into sci-fi and/or horror but preferably both.
