I knew this was coming but it’s still a bummer.

It’s mind blowing that they look like the stars are right next to each other but actually so far away

I’m not going to let little things like the laws of physics get in the way of my dreams 😆

I think my most wanted image in the universe would be a detailed image of a neutron star like we have for our sun.

Don’t want to spoil anything, but certain parts affect the story later depending on how well you play.

I heard they put dihydrogenmonoxide in the tap water, I don’t want any of those chemicals in my body
December 27, 2025 at 11:55 PM
I also really like diofield, it was a nice foundation that could have become great if the devs had a chance to build upon it.

We don’t have a rocket capable of safely sending humans beyond low earth orbit and they’re cutting NASA to less than 0.1% of the US budget when they would have to increase it by an order of magnitude to do what he just claimed.

This is far more feasible than his Dyson sphere idea though, progress!

This is the first I’ve heard of the govt making sugar more expensive? I assumed it was subsidized because of how cheap sugary junk food is.

Do you think vegans are using photosynthesis or something?
December 21, 2025 at 6:37 PM
This always gets me, the stars look like they’re right next to each other.

Hi Lee, 4 years ago I came across a documentary from Real Engineering showing how JWST was built and that’s what got me interested in astronomy, then astronomy got me interested in science, and science got me interested in all kinds of things. So thank you for all your work.

I make her Mac and cheese, stroganoff , and red lentil curry .

I cut some steps out to make it easier but it’s still good

Control had the best trailer of the show.

Exercise also causes spikes, pretty sure exercise doesn’t lead to diabetes.
December 14, 2025 at 2:14 PM
This article claims that spikes will cause hunger and lead to diabetes, but fails to acknowledge that exercise causes spikes as well and does the opposite.

It’s not the spikes that are driving hunger, it’s the hyper palatable food you’re eating.

I was kind of waiting for backlash to that trailer because it’s way worse than the TLOU2 one but I haven’t really seen any.

Ugh, I misremembered and thought they had actually banned this.

I don’t have control of how electricity is produced or how people are transported. I can swap beef for tofu right now.

A scientist wouldn’t dismiss a strong argument simply by accusing the other person of bias, especially when the reason people eat animal products is because of their feelings and culture, not because they think it’s some really great idea that they’ve really thought out rationally.

Don’t forget the anti biotic resistance and pandemics, they worked really hard to give us those.
December 10, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Is it in a stable enough orbit that it will be ok without any earth contact for a while?
December 10, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Is there an astronomer literally going over every pixel of these images or is there some type of software that’s finding them? That’s so small!
December 9, 2025 at 9:53 PM
So big hand up here, when I looked at the “studies” google was referring to, every single one linked to an article just praising protein in general, not the actual chips vs chips comparison I asked for. 🤦‍♂️

I’ll shut up now.
