i was thinking about urusawa's monster in relation to MW in particular... MW kind of sucks and monster is 'better in many ways' and yet it is so, so much less. i need to finish his catalogue, i have a copy of IL on my bedside table that i haven't picked up yet....

its mildly off topic but i was just thinking about how much his proclivities and eccentricities add to his works in ways that a 'better' author could never let happen, sometimes to their great detriment

agree but i feel like 'molten' hasn't been used as a past participle since middle english. i like that it remains as an adjective, tho (but only for things that melt above room temperature?)
