Unsure if I'll be able to finish both before New Year's Day 2026, but if I'm lucky (and once I've finished Aliens: Phalanx, which only has 15% left to go) I'll be finishing out the year bookwise w/ Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch and Kassandra Killjoy Book 2 by @erodbuster.bsky.social.

Dark as it is to think, I'm glad my Dad doesn't have to be here for what the world is like in 2025. I know he would hate this. As sad as the Bush Era left him, the Trump era is so much worse for so many people.

Which sucks as, on it's own, it's not inaccurate at all. I think it's just that some people took it literally.

When I finished The Savior's Champion, I was like "That was pretty good, but do I want to continue with the series?" This right here was what made me go "Okay, yeah, I'll check it out." And I'm glad I did, because I just thought TSS was better than TSC in every way I can think of. And I liked TSC.

If Kellie Waymire hadn't died so suddenly IRL and Manny Coto was able to bring her back for Season 3 of Enterprise (I've read there were plans to, but I don't know if it was ever confirmed) I bet there'd be a much bigger shipping contingent for these two. Not on the level of T'Pol/Hoshi, but still.
