What's weird is that, most devices have been ignoring that DNS server, and so have the two affected Pixels until recently. I don't know if it was a software update from Google that changed this behavior or what. I'm just happy it's fixed now.

I tracked down the issue to a "rogue" IPv6 DNS server coming from my secondary OpenWrt-based AP. I thought I had disabled all authoritative systems on it, but apparently not.

For some indeterminate amount of time, certain devices (at least two Google Pixels) have been unable to resolve LAN DNS entries on my guest network. External DNS has been working fine, and all other devices, including another Pixel phone, have been able to resolve LAN DNS entries just fine.

My test phone is on an AT&T MVNO, and my main phone is on a TMo one. Switching my main plan is, unfortunately, not realistic. I'm looking forward to the fix :)

Good ARM64 servers can be very snappy, from my limited experience. But yes, x86 just works.
