Leading up to the vote, Liberals were trailing in the polls until Trump began attacking Canada's sovereignty and levying tariffs on Canadian goods. #Canada

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: When we see people being pulled off the streets, when we see students at universities being grabbed, detained, and kidnapped, and when we see Kristi Noem filming this disgusting video, we’re looking at a nation we no longer recognize. We don’t want to be like that nation.

@joy.msnbc.com I am just so sad and sorry that @msnbc.com has treated you so shabbily. You are a star. Your interviews shine light into the cracks in our society. They are making a massive mistake...and now Katie Phang? I despair.

Donated yesterday
Wikipedia is useful. Musk and other power-hungry, wealthy people want to enclose it to limit the free and useful information it provides. Donate to help keep it going.
Elon Musk does not want you to donate to Wikipedia, which is itself a good reason to donate, but the much better reason is that it's Wikipedia. Just donated again last night.

My new favourite word: Kakistocracy. Derived (according to The Guardian) from kakka...to defecate. Meditations on the upcoming US Cabinet.

Good morning, Blue Sky. Felt very brave this morning and deactivated X. I'm off! And on...here. Need a salve, a balm after recent events.
