Don't follow someone just to pressure them in DMs to read your book. Especially to another author who has their own book and work they need to prioritize. That's what beta readers are for. I'm all about supporting other authors, but this is NOT the way you do it. Do better.

I used to have these thoughts all of the time because my books are so undiscovered, but that's the truth there: undiscovered. Your people will find you; they found Poe, Keats, Dickson, and countless others. Keep writing because when they find you, they'll have a lifetime of reading to enjoy.
