in a world where Putin didn't invade Ukraine, Europe would have never have found out trumps allegiance. He's always been open about Nato finance & not pulling weight, but through this we discovered they are an untrustworthy ally. We would have otherwise watched America self distruct.

A reminder that PIP is a stand alone benefit separate to a person's ability to work. A person can work, pay tax and contribute to society and be disabled. So when you think about the welfare Bill, consider PIP should be viewed differently. It's to help bare the burden and cost of your disability.

1/2 @professorgerdes.bsky.social given that nato is setup so it can't expel or suspend members, the US position in it will be compromised (Canada & Greenland) do you see Trump exiting the alliance? In that case, the alliance crumbles and a new alliance would be needed.

You don't get to moan about #trump. you're overwhelming mandate tells the rest of us, this is the will of the people. if you close a bridge it becomes difficult to cross it, if you burn it down it becomes impossible to cross it. even in a post-trump world, the USA will have to earn that trust back.
