JUST IN: The Republican Mayor of Fairbanks, Alaska’s second biggest city, lost re-election last night to a Democrat.

Mayor David Pruhs is a conservative who fought protections for LGBTQ+ residents; he made comments this year drew condemnation this year from Alaska Natives. He lost to Mindy O'Neall.

Or, they can fight for what’s right for everyone- regardless of who they voted for- and solve problems

NEW—US Department of Education sent out standard Out of Office language to employees on Wednesday in light of shutdown. Later yesterday, workers tell me they found someone had updated their auto-responses without consent to a new one blaming Democrats.

Trump saying he now has to inflict pain on blue states and cities, because of the government shutdown, is exactly the same mentality of a husband who beats his wife, while telling her it’s her fault she is getting beaten.

I know that mindset of evil men well- and it defines precisely who Trump is.
