Everybody approaches art with their own ideological filters. Some of us can (more or less frequently) see beyond those filters in order to engage with the artist's intent. Many cannot.

And the broader point here is how much antisocial behavior is now embraced and coded as conservative and pro-social behavior is coded as left wing! They’ve decided that not being a gross weirdo is “woke.”
