Once you're used to it, dual boot is pretty smooth ime.

A more advanced option would be to run Windows through a VM in Linux, if you didn't wanna dual boot.

I personally just dual boot, all it takes is selecting your off-OS when you need it

The master just looked at the monk and said, "It'll pass."

Frustrated, the monk left and continued to diligently meditate.

Two weeks later, the monk returned, overjoyed. He'd finally had a breakthrough, thanks to master's advice.

But the master just looked at him and said, "It'll pass."

There's a related story about a monk who went to his master to ask for advice, because he was stuck in his meditations and beginning to doubt if any of it even worked, on top of being jealous of his peers who were experiencing epiphanies and visions, seemingly inching closer to enlightenment.

Also; mandatory "any distro is fine"

Anyone who likes their distro will shill it to you, and so the best solution is to pick something that doesn't seem too daunting like Ubuntu or Pop!OS and see how it feels.

If I didn't need to use windows exclusive software for my hobbies and work I'd exclusively use Linux.

Try dual booting! It's free and doesn't mess with your windows install as long as you follow instructions.

Linux has a slight learning curve but it's nowhere near as daunting as it seems.

The opening cutscene to resident evil 1, when the zombie turns around from eating the dude.

Could barely sleep for a week. Loved it

I used Godot to create a level prototyping/world design tool. It's great

even if the fiction in question is something disagreeable, or something you find repulsive, or something you think nobody should read.

fiction policing is always done based on vibes and feels which has never been a good method of establishing sensible laws.

fiction deserves free speech above all.

even promoting shouldn't be prohibited as long as it's within a work of fiction.

fiction censorship exists solely for the purpose of furthering a puritan agenda. fiction does not cause harm, so it shouldn't be censored, no matter the form.

you shouldn't accept it under any circumstance
