I experience it as a pernicious little identitarian devil lurking in my mind, asking to pin myself down, to reject opacity. It manifests materially as the pathetic labor of résumé → LinkedIn → personal website... and yet, when I find a nice tidy bio, what reassurance it gives!

Main addition was an affordance to easily "pin" a line into context, with the same kind of selection + keyboard shortcut approach.

This feels fundamentally different to a chat interface. The context is always available to be edited and tweaked. There is no distinction between user-input and machine-output.

First dead simple, ~100loc, LLM interface is getting input and piping outputs to dmenu. Selections get copied to the clipboard to be used elsewhere.

dmenu is pretty awesome—cat a file for a list of bookmarks, show a selection menu with fuzzy matching, and then open the selection in the browser. First time I've used a proper UI component inside of a bash/unix pipe workflow.
