even at half-boned, 18th century stays still use a lot of bones. the pattern i’m using requires 63 bones

cut, corners filed, and white plastidip to reseal the edges. just waiting for them to finish curing before i can put them in and finish off the stays

first up is a set of 1780s stays using a really pretty floral print i found at joanns. the binding and lacing ribbons i found on etsy.
