Husband, father, lover of animals, The Silver Bayonet, music, history, HR tech, overweight, balding. Man, that list started so well.
In a rare turn of events I managed to paint during the week. This is my French Occultist for #TheSilverBayonet. Mini from Eureka Miniatures UK.

I have mine proudly on display in my office. And given I will soon be changing jobs after 22 years it carries a lot of meaning to me.

“What was that howling in the trees? Go and investigate.”

Suppose it’s time to get in the Christmas mood now, with Father Orcmas and the frankly disturbing Turkey Man. @badsquiddogames.bsky.social #FoundryMiniatures

Want to recommend this book again as a view into the analogous political movement of America’s past. They also betrayed basically everything they professed to believe, revealing how hollow and partisan those beliefs were.

Think back to your childhood. Do you remember when the anxiety started?

This was from an episode of Bergerac of all things. Mum had to give me a night light when I went to bed. I can also remember waking up so scared I tried to call out but my voice wouldn’t work, though may be a separate memory.

This from the same book is extremely on the nose for 2025. And all took place under Louis XVI, famously decapitated for his tyranny.

Completely surprised by the apparent tradition in *pre-revolutionary* France challenging slavery. This, about the trial of a slave on French soil being said to be free seems similar to the birthright citizenship quarrel- but in 1738 in tyrannical old Europe.

Also this is a great book on how the confederacy became most of the things it professed to hate.

"When duty calls us we must fight
All goblins, werewolves, ghosts & wights
And vampires foul who shirk the day
Over the hills & far away

O'er the hills & o'er the main
Through dungeons dark with ropes & chains
King George commands we monsters slay
Over the hills & far away."

My post should have read “somewhat” moderated the party, but apart from that this is one for anyone that wants to block anyone engaged in abuse rather than any good faith discussion.
