QT also thinks Roy Scheider wasn’t a big enough star for Sorcerer &says it’s the one weakness in the film which, in terms of box office, I get but why would that be anyone’s take except the studio? Scheider is clearly perfectly cast. It’s not the 1st or 12th time he’s had a flake take.

100%. I love discovering power pop bands that either never really got big or just fell through the cracks over the years. Some of my favorites are Laughing Dogs, Jules and the Polar Bears, Cretones and the Headboys.

I watched this several times today. The raw energy/dancing and the direction really make this pop. I have not seen this film but now that I found it on YT i definitely will.
