I printed 3 to start

This carving is called “weeds” It came from a blurry old photo my mom took in the ‘60s- I take these type of photos all the time~ there was something there to see and if I look deep enough I will find it and turn it into art

Final print, “Old Glory“ limited edition of 20.

Here is the initial print. A few adjustments and I think I’ll call it. I have some color ideas to explore, I’ll post the final in the future..,

My brain is hurting right now, trying to keep this all straight- I made a mistake 3 minutes into it! Fixable, but a reminder to focus on this one. This one is very much more for me than anything else- I’ll post the initial print

here is the new piece I carved and printed. I only did 7 as a limited edition

Final result of this print, the first after hand surgery. I took some chances and thought I made some errors, and also wanted a monochromatic feel which I thought was a mistake. But it’s done and it’s time to move on. I’m headed out to Tahoe area for some inspiration…
