Some bites from yesterday's Maria Stuarda in Madrid. Lisette Oropesa was quite good as Maria, but Aigul Akhmetshina was rather disappointing as Elisabeth- no low notes, no developed chest voice, not very exciting singing.

We've been in Opera Liceu in Barcelona couple days ago, to to make sure that Saioa Hernandez's voice is still the best of today's sopranos and that the chest voice is as strong as ever☺️🫡
She will sing Butterfly there in couple of weeks- highly recommended!
