The IOC disqualified Ukrainian skeleton racer Heraskevych for wearing a helmet honoring Ukrainian athletes killed in Russia’s war. Just their faces—no slogans.
650+ athletes dead. He was banned minutes before competing as a medal contender.
This is shameful.

Just watched the movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
We’ve somehow built a world where Mr. Rogers’ gentle kindness feels radical.
It was so very nice to see. Inspired,
I then watched a documentary where he convinced a crusty congressman to fund PBS in the 60’s

Notice the sinister link between gender injustice, patriarchy, fascism, militarism, religious fundamentalism, violence, slavery and environmental degradation.
These dark horses are gaining ground now.
Is anyone else feeling this dread?

This week’s #sourdough loaves
Cinnamon Raisin Walnut ( I am on a kick with this one 😋)
Whole Wheat with Flax & Millet
I preheated the cast iron pots before baking and added a few ice cubes when I first put them in and it made them extra crusty

Have you ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas ? It’s a little bit older movie (2012)
I rented it the other night and was very good.
It highlights the dueling themes of collaboration and domination throughout the ages of human history. Humanity repeats patterns of primal conflicts and evolution is slow.

Todays #sourdough creations Cinnamon Raisin with Sunflower Seeds(we ran out of walnuts) and Whole Wheat with Millet 🌾

Dear #MAHA does stripping fed protections from millions of acres of wetlands and streams, threatening sources of clean drinking water for millions of Americans make us healthy again?

How long until it is not safe to post political opinions?
Social media is profiled by US Gov for ‘credible threats’. ICE is building a 24/7 surveillance team.
