I think that a D president should ruthlessly enforce the law, prosecute everyone implicated in the overthrow of the republic to the fullest extent of the law and similarly prosecute corruption and civil rights violations.

Glad you don't listen to them. I'm a public defender and also have no escape. Other people's trauma will absolutely burn you out if you don't set boundaries. Like they tell you on the airplane - put your own oxygen mask on first.

I read them all a while ago. I didn't like the smug anti-theism nor the anti-Narniaism of the author, but the books were ok. Well written, had an interesting world, and probably a bit less anti-church than what I might write if I were able to write.
