Just some small updates. I forgot all about looptools, which helps fix geometry (and make circles!) So the arms and legs are a bit smoother. The tail is as well, but I might redo it so it is longer. #PunkyMunkyArt #Furry #Gecko #WIP

The legs and arms are just placeholders, but we have a torso that can connect to the head! (they are still not joined, but the pieces are lining up). Also - we have a tail! It needs to be bigger, but it ends up being too high on the back :/

The legs and arms are just placeholders, but we have a torso that can connect to the head! (they are still not joined, but the pieces are lining up). Also - we have a tail! It needs to be bigger, but it ends up being too high on the back :/

Managed the side view. Once I do the back, not only does it mean I can start sculpting again, but I'll have finished a turn around sheet and be a real artist :P

Vitruvian Gecko? Not quite. Just trying to get the body planned out. The feet and hands will be their own images, since the angles will need to be different for me to figure out the topology. I get the feeling people would be really upset with me if I half assed the feet ;)

I think this is my current skill cap.It works though. I will probably make the tied back portion a bit more round and would like to add a *bit* of volume over all, but for now I think I'm okay with it. #Blender #Furry #WIP #Gecko #PunkyMunkyArt

Cheating a bit by using my retron5 instead of my SNES (modded seems to be giving ‘breaking 2 pins’ too much credit) but I am using an actual SFC cart! I am a huuuuge Tales fan. I got this right after playing tales of destiny when it came out!

Just a bit of an update. I was able to layer it a bit better on the top, and I *think* I have a path to make the back of the hair/mohawk thing travel the back of the skull and then tie up. needs a bit more volume in the back, but I don't think that's unmanageable!

Hair is really tricky! I might have to start the hair over on the weekend, but I'm kinda figuring out the controls. It's also tricky because he's got hair that doesn't really work in 3d, so he might need to see a stylist.

I think I am figuring out hair. At least, how to add it to the model. In terms of actually placing it and making it look right? That's still a work in progress! (I also think I need to make the back of the skull a bit larger. seems flat once the hair is added!
