I sometimes need the water boiling time to prepare other things, but if I am in a hurry I will absolutely use the kettle as a shortcut.

I don’t understand the mindset. I buy much of my produce in summer from little old Hmong ladies. I would love to live next to them and learn all their gardening secrets even without a common language.

I have both a grandmother and aunt who aren’t even vaguely blood related. Cousins were anyone not an adult. I was in college before I understood what second cousin even meant

I laid 4x4’s where the walls would be. Secured those to the ground with rebar pounded through holes drilled in them. Then scree greenhouse to that and filled with gravel. Has survived 60-70mph winds.
