Post twitter fallout I saw a lot of people make individual sites that cater to artists, but a lot of them didnt go anywhere and a handful of them even personally tried to invite artists like me to their site. Some of them are fishy and allow AI so that's something to be aware of.

I'm always open for other social media platforms, so why not. However, i've been burned before by amateurs running a social media platform that went nowhere despite going on for 2-3 years (it got worse). So if this takes off and it survives a couple of years, then i'll consider checking it out.
