the core game loop is very much a linear experience with a handcrafted sequence of levels (just like Wii Tanks), but with little sprinkles of randomness to justify repeat runs and support emergent fun. 'Double enemy speed' with 'infinite ammo' in a wave mode for example!

I want to be very deliberate in how much the 'roguelite' stuff fits into the game. I don't want it to feel tacked on for the sake of having the genre tag, so these modifiers are going to be iterated on a lot so ensure they actually contribute to making the gameplay engaging

some wip UI work for blitz! Each level is pre-designed but given to you in a random order every run with a random positive/negative modifier applied to it, making the experience and challenge different each time!

Nah projectiles are team based and don’t collide with their own team. Player projectiles turn to enemy projectiles when affected by the radar. If the reflected projectiles could hit other enemies this guy would be a huge team killer hahaha

it's fun coming up with enemies that dont explicitly attack you, but pose a challenge in other ways. these dudes are real annoying when combined with other tanks >:D
