i still want to mess around with the mouth anatomy but studying the real animal helped in picking out the shapes i like, it was fun trying to adapt the square eye shape i enjoy to fit with the anatomy of the real thing ! this was so much fun...

id like to compare this to an otter study i did back in feb ! !! i still LOVE this one soo much but i feel like my approach has changed a little tho maybe i should go back to this even looser quite gestural sketches too that'd be fun

saw a squirrel today while taking the trash out at work and i thought wow....i should study them this evening
so i did ! ! ! 1st one i did is bottom left, then mid then top, i like that i got so much more comfortable with their shapes by the 3rd one i even did a crasy pose ! ! !
