Yes, Notre Dame's incredibly massive and magnificent considering it's about 760 years old. But my favorite building on the Île de la Cité is the small Sainte-Chapelle -- completed in 1248 -- because its stained glass windows are so gorgeous and they admit so much colored light into its interior.
