I thought about making a sound effect, but I couldn't think of a good one, so I went with one of the "sound effects" that explains what the gesture is because I thought it was funny.

I don't expect it to last, but I really hope the fire people have against Schumer and these Dems lasts until their terms are up.

The "compromise" is a GOP *promise* to bring up a vote on the subsidy extension? Even if they keep their word, we know it's not gonna pass.
The 8 Dems who voted for this are retiring or not up for reelection in '26. Schumer gets to pretend he was on the right side while the 8 face minimal risk
