I don't want to argue but I've literally just told you that one round the corner is bearing up well. Charging stations are very expensive and many people don't have off street parking (me, for example).

There is one round the corner from me and it seems to be showing no signs of wear and tear and it's better than some of the heath-robinson solutions I've seen.

That's what I'm going to test. I'm not against kerbside charging but it's maddening that legislation has been changed so quickly for it.

I'm not actually against them. In fact I know the owner of the company doing them. But they have ignored the near certainty that people will consider that bit of street 'theirs'.

The second anyone in my street installs one of those gutters across the pavement for car charger cables, I'm going to apply for planning permission to install a Sheffield stand at the front of my house.

He's going to rig or cancel the mid-terms and probably 2028 as well. The GOP has thrown out the rule book and the Democrats are spineless. The West and western policies have already been up ended. Europe needs to grow some and we need to align with them.
