The amount of slop "content" such accounts can put out is rather disheartening, yeah :/

Not that good? From what I've seen they've been nothing but great!
I'm sure you can look at them with a critical eye and find ways to improve, which goes for basically everything anyone does, but calling them "not that good" is severely underselling your art.

Mmm. Mild disagree. If it arrives particularly late or in a particularly damaged packing, I'd want to know. The store is also responsible for shipping the product with a decent carrier.
Ideally there'd be separate ratings for quality and delivery like many food apps have, I suppose.

Oh, yeah. In that sense I very much agree. Funny, Dead Space 3 did that too with the real ending DLC.
I do think there can be proper expansion DLC in a good way, but I guess that's rare these days. A lot of it is as you said, or seasonal content drop drip feed.
