My feeling is that you want your router table to be rock solid. No locking hinge I have ever seen will do that. I would be leaning towards sturdy legs or perhaps sliding or fixable metal rails that you could slide out under the router table, fixed to the table saw 'table'.

Agree. it wasn't hard, it was different. But that was the whole point of their product placement-a different way to do things. I won't be trusting them again with their new app ...

Yes. When you glue it together (even under clamping pressure) you are kind of effectively creating a single piece of wood out of the pieces. Hammering in the wedge puts a lot more tension between the handle and the rest of the "wood" making it much more secure

I, also deleted my instagram account 2 weeks ago. I had left Facebook years ago for pretty much the same reasons but held onto Instagram because there were so many nice people I followed on there but you have to draw a line I guess.
