I retired during the pandemic (my employer, hit financially by COVID offered voluntary severance so I and hundreds of others applied and got it). I wonder how many my age (late boomers) also thought that it was the right time to retire?

I was an early twitter user. It took me a long time to realise that it's not a place for discussion but simply somewhere for people to air their prejudices.

It's an important message but I could do without the syrupy music. Let us hear the people speak without music to tell us how we're supposed to feel. Just because you can add music to a video it doesn't mean that you should.

Honestly I like Bluesky the way it is - peaceful. I don't want the big accounts on Twitter moving here and bringing drama with them. I was an early Twitter user but I deleted my account and don't miss it all, the people I follow are already here.

You've probably seen this letter from the Heathrow Expansion Team to the Climate Change Committee. I hope the CCC do the decent thing and point out that no airport expansion can be consistent with Net Zero goals.

I'm pretty sure that no one on Bluesky need be reminded that Twitter is broken and is now the plaything of a rich man - that's why we moved. If you haven't already - leave Twitter and delete your account.
