Yeah, this would be like Hasbro patenting the ability to move consecutive spaces using dice. Just doesn't make sense to patent vague blueprint mechanics

imo, game mechanics shouldn't be patented. See the Nemesis System or the ability to have mini games during loading screens for reference. Two amazing things with potential popularity which never made it out of two or three games due to parents.

Yeah, I created the compatdata symlink between the NTFS drive's steamapps and the compat directory on my linux drive. For more context, I have three separate drives and my steamlibrary was not on the Windows system folder or my new linux drive, so I was less worried about booting back into Windows
