Oh. Well, it wasn't A single cutscene, with Ryne, it was just : "Oh, damn, I understand...", with all of her "finding herself" topic. As a 14 y/o, when I replayed ShB, I understood her a lot more.

And then, I went, "oh well, why not pair her with an Ascian OC?"...

This was mine.
Lyse as Yda during the Bloody Banquet. Her mask has been damaged and you can see one of her blue eyes. She's reacting to the person who damaged it, saying, "Ow! Now look what you've done!"

When he was younger, Venat and Emet-Selch often taught Ahmed how to play piano. It was a welcome distraction from his father's duty.

But now that they're no longer here, he often plunges into melancholy...

Mephilia is blocking a fire ball spell, shield raised, as blue ethereal wings cast a protection ward to the Viera behind her. She is the middle of two powerful forces, one red (the fire), and one blue (her ather manfesting to protect someone dear to her) From a different angle. We can see the Viera on his knees, looking up to Mephilia who's put herself between the fire cast and himself. All he can see is blue aethered wings, as he's shielding from the flame entirely, the flames spreading outside the wings.
