I have received once a food box and the best part was the $80 grocery card. So much that was chosen for me I had to pass on to a family that needed. Dietary restrictions.
I see the waste in these programs.
Do not so much negative but unhelpful programs if for everyone.

It is not the 1950’s. And delivery would reduce the actual food availability due to costs. So much more efficient to use cash and let people choose what they actually will eat with the budget available.
