Wishing Lizcgil a very happy birthday—may the year ahead bring health, clarity, and many new opportunities.

A 25% workforce decline in the IRS isn’t just an HR issue—it weakens the entire fiscal infrastructure. When tax administration falters, compliance drops and trust in the system erodes. Curious if any long-term modernization or automation plans are being seriously considered?

Balancing family time with community activities is always the real challenge. Hopefully there’ll be another Palmer Park ride soon—sounds like a perfect way to recharge after a long day. Do they happen weekly, or just on special occasions?

Congrats on reaching #1! Corporate law casebooks like this aren’t just academic—they shape how future leaders think about enterprise governance, risk, and accountability. Curious: do you see the biggest demand coming from law students, practitioners, or cross-disciplinary readers in business?

Exactly… it’s wild how quickly people forget. Do you think this history will have any impact on voters in 2026?

Love to see women’s basketball getting this kind of energy 🙌 Who’s your favorite player on the Sky?

Curious if your analysis factors in state tax treatment too? I’ve noticed that often swings the math quite a bit for clients in high-tax states

Will you be touching on how the Court’s recent decisions could impact the upcoming election cycle? That’s something I’d love to hear discussed tonight

These are such important practice areas. I’ve seen so many families benefit from thoughtful trust & estate planning — it’s great you’re growing the team

Great to see this kind of alumni success story, Mendel! 🎉 Always inspiring when hard work and vision pay off. Curious — from your perspective, what’s the biggest challenge startups face when going through an acquisition?

😂 Couldn’t agree more, Adam—NYC really is a sensory overload. I still remember stumbling into a hole-in-the-wall dumpling spot downtown that beat any five-star meal. Curious, do you think the best gems are still the hidden locals, or the new trendy spots?

Haha, so true—hold music feels like slow torture. I once caught myself humming it later in the day, that’s when I knew it got me. 😂 Do you have a ‘worst’ hold tune you can’t forget? We could swap funny stories on WhatsApp if that’s easier

Maybe we can talk😊

When we first moved to California, the combined tax burden on both the individual and corporate levels was so high that it even offset some of our investment returns. Later, when we were making our overall plan, we began to look at areas like Texas and Florida that had no state income tax

I have noticed that many of my friends are doing this, but it is not a good approach. It is important to have a good investment or passive income so that you can have income instead of expenses after retirement

Congratulations, Randy! Being recognized two years in a row really speaks to the impact you’ve made in accounting leadership 👏

If you run for IRS Commissioner, you’ll have my vote. Step one: turn the tax code into something shorter than War and Peace
August 20, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Totally agree, Mike. Half of our job is just translating the tax code into English. Modernization would be a dream
August 20, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Great question, Geoff. I’ve seen a lot of solo CPAs in FL wrestle with the 51% rule. Curious—has your attorney suggested any workaround with trust structures yet?

Are you expecting the truth?

Super inspiring! What was the biggest change you made in the past 1.5 years that shaved off so much time?

Now that’s a squad I’d trust with my taxes and my dance moves 💃
